The ETIAS visa is the new travel authorization program being implemented by the EU which will require all Serbian citizens wishing to visit Europe to apply for a European visa, beginning in the year 2020.
What do Serbians need to visit Europe?
The ETIAS, also known as European Travel Information and Authorisation System, is a visa waiver program being developed for all ETIAS eligible countries including Serbia.
When the EU visa for Serbian citizens is launched in 2020, all travelers to Europe from Serbia will need to obtain an ETIAS travel authorization through an online application which will take approximately 10 minutes to complete.
The ETIAS requirements for Serbian citizens are simple and will only need eligible Serbians to provide their passport with a validity of 3 months beyond the period of stay, their personal information, contact details and be able to pay the ETIAS fee with a credit or debit card.

For those traveling to Europe from Serbia an ETIAS visa for Europe will be necessary and will be easily obtainable through the ETIAS application form online.
Each eligible citizen will need to complete a short application form with their name, date and place of birth, contact details and answer some security questions regarding their immigration and travel history and health information. With this data, the ETIAS application for Serbians will be screened against various security databases and the approved ETIAS visa waiver will be sent to the email address supplied by the applicant.

Traveling to Europe from Serbia
The European visa for Serbian citizens will allow travelers to enter any of the European countries included in the ETIAS agreement for business or pleasure for a maximum of 90 days in any 180-day period. This means Serbian citizens with ETIAS can travel to any of the Schengen zone countries without the need to apply for a visa.
The ETIAS visa for Europe is a multiple entry visa with a validity of 5 years once approved. This signifies that any Serbian citizen with a valid European visa can visit Europe any number of times in this 5 years validity period as long as their passport remains valid and they have not stayed more than 90 days in the same 180-day period.
When either the citizen’s Serbian passport or the ETIAS visa for Europe for Serbians expires, it will be necessary for the traveler to apply for an ETIAS renewal before returning to Europe.
