The European Commission has established the European Travel Information Authorization System to protect the region. Honduran citizens who wish to travel to Europe as of 2021 will be expected to apply for an ETIAS visa waiver prior to their trip.
HONDURANS TRAVELING TO EUROPE
Hondurans who currently travel to Europe for short term periods can do so without having a Schengen visa. Travellers are granted a stay of up to 90 days.
Hondurans traveling to EU Schengen member countries will be obliged to apply online to obtain their ETIAS visa waiver. As off 2021, this will be a mandatory requirement for all foreigners traveling to this region.
The citizens of Honduras can complete the Etias application online. For a successful application, Hondurans need to enroll with a passport with a validity of 3 months upon arrival. All applicants should have a credit or debit card to pay the fee and a current email address where they will receive the ETIAS, once it's approved.

THE ETIAS APPLICATIONS FOR CITIZENS OF HONDURAS
During the ETIAS application process, Hondurans need to provide their passport details, along with their full name, date of birth, and address. While completing the ETIAS a citizen of Honduras will also be expected to add information about their travel plans.
Travellers should know that they are expected to respond a series of security questions at the end of the ETIAS application. Honduran citizens who wish to travel to the EU should answer all questions with honesty and accuracy.
The ETIAS travel authorization for Europe will be a mandatory migratory requirement. Travellers are strongly advised to apply before their date of departure.
VISIT EUROPE FROM HONDURAS WITH THE ETIAS
Once approved, an ETIAS visa waiver will be valid for three consecutive years with unlimited short-term stay entries. An Honduran citizens with an approved ETIAS can enter all the countries in the Schengen zone.
Honduran travellers should bear in mind that if their passport expires, they will need to apply for a new ETIAS.
The European visa waiver is only obligatory for people over 18 years of age. Minors will have to apply for an ETIAS to travel to Europe.
All information provided by an Honduran will be screened and checked against security databases. This procedure applies to all foreign travelers who want to travel to and within Europe.
