Starting the year 2020, All Paraguayan citizens that wish to visit Europe will be required to apply online for an european visa. ETIAS stands for European Travel Information and Authorization System created to improve screening of travelers to the region. Europe visa Requirements for citizens of Paraguay
Currently, citizens of Paraguay who wish to travel to Europe for short-stays are not required to apply for a Schengen visa. Upon arrival, Paraguayans can stay for up to 90 days.

As of 2020, the ETIAS will be compulsory for Paraguayans over the age of 18. Minors are not expected to apply for an ETIAS to travel to the EU and don’t have to pay for the visa fee.
